CovertSwarm named on the Startups 100 Index

Startup.co.uk has recognized us as one of the UK’s leading start-ups and part of the next generation of game changers.

Our team is proud to announce that CovertSwarm, the leading global red team, and cybersecurity solution provider, has been recognized by Startup.co.uk as one of the UK’s leading start-ups in its annual index.

The Startups 100 is the UK’s longest-running index of new businesses and is run by the UK’s most established website for entrepreneurs and receives hundreds of applications from new companies each year, vying to be recognized among the pioneering UK startups sparking change across every sector. The index has previously identified brands including Monzo, Deliveroo, HelloFresh and Revolut.

CovertSwarm is one of only three cybersecurity companies that have been named on the latest index.

With our efforts to redefine enterprise security risk discovery and our unwavering commitment to staying ahead of modern cyber threats, CovertSwarm’s inclusion in this year’s Startups 100 index highlights the waves we continue to make in radically redefine the traditional Red Team services and Attack Surface Management (ASM) market by empowering organizations to outpace cyber threats.

The latest recognition follows CovertSwarm also being named as a CISO Choice Award finalist and in the top 20 cyber security solution providers in the UK by TechRound.

This is what Startups.co.uk had to say about CovertSwarm:

Clearly, CovertSwarm’s unique approach to cybersecurity works. Despite being founded in 2020, the startup has quickly become a leading provider of red-teaming services, with its clients including one of the top ten largest American brands and one of the top five global health insurers – but it’s not stopping there.

The cybersecurity startup aims to be the global leader in red team services and platform provision within the next five years. And, if the company’s promising seed funding and 120% growth in the last year is anything to go by, this is definitely something CovertSwarm will be able to hack.

Reacting to the news, Anders Reeves, CEO at CovertSwarm, said: “Being acknowledged among the UK’s leading startups in the Startups 100 Index is a testament to both how far we have come in a short space of time as well as to our relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence in the cybersecurity domain. It’s an honor and motivation for us to continue pushing boundaries in the cybersecurity space.

“Our dedication to redefining how enterprises approach security risk discovery and our proactive stance against modern cyber threats have been fundamental in earning this recognition.

“We’re still very much the new kid on the block but in a short space of time, we’ve emerged as one of the leading providers of red-teaming services. We’re proud to serve some of the world’s leading global brands and have huge aspirations over the next five years.”

Richard Parris, Managing Editor of Startups.co.uk, added: “The ingenuity and innovation of the brands featuring in our annual Startups 100 index never ceases to amaze, and this year is no exception.

Despite the crises of the past couple of years, we’ve seen some incredible businesses from every corner of the UK in our rankings.

“They may be tackling different challenges to one another, but there’s a shared mood of opportunity and an optimism for the year ahead that’s invigorating to see as we begin 2024.”
