About Anders
Anders Reeves founded CovertSwarm in 2020, motivated by a simple frustration. Almost every business he had worked for over a 20-year career had been breached, and every single one had done the same things to try to prevent it: occasional penetration tests, thick reports, and long gaps in between.
He had seen the false economy up close. Security testing that was out of date the moment the report landed. Scopes designed for consultants, not real attackers. The gap between how fast organizations change and how rarely they test themselves. That gap, he decided, was where CovertSwarm needed to exist.
CovertSwarm went to market in April 2021. The foundational pitch was deliberately blunt: if you release code, hire people, open new premises, or change your board more often than you attack yourself, you are not keeping pace with your own risk. The argument landed. It still does.
Prior to founding CovertSwarm, Anders held senior leadership roles across technology and managed services, including Group CEO at Conosco, and positions at Gousto and Helm. He studied at UCL. Today he leads a globally distributed company that is, by design, a disruptive challenger to everything the legacy cyber vendor market has normalized.
