Potter joins CovertSwarm having enjoyed an extensive career in the offensive security and penetration testing industry.

As CovertSwarm’s latest senior appointment Potter will be employing his expertise growing cyber businesses to accelerate CovertSwarm’s industry-leading cyber delivery function and expand its team of ethical hackers whilst supporting the business’ steep rate of growth.

Potter will assume ownership of CovertSwarm’s product and delivery functions, bringing CovertSwarm’s Offensive Operations Centre (OOC) platform to the centre of the cyber business’ overall value proposition.

CovertSwarm continues to achieve significant rates of growth by partnering directly with organisations seeking higher degrees of cyber assurance and security validation than has traditionally been available by ‘snapshot’ penetration testing and red team engagements and consultancies.

Anders Reeves, CEO and Founder of CovertSwarm, commented “Luke’s appointment will accelerate our ability to constantly compromise our customer’s security defences. I’m thrilled and excited to see him join our Board and assume the role of CovertSwarm’s COO. Having someone of Luke’s calibre and experience as part of CovertSwarm is a massive win both for us and our clients.”

Potter, COO at CovertSwarm, commented “CovertSwarm has built an incredible team of exceptionally talented ethical hackers who are enabled by its Offensive Operations Centre. Our constant cyber attack offering solves a fundamental industry problem – that point in time penetration testing and red team engagements are no longer enough. Our challenge to the cyber industry is backed by the business’ unique Swarm delivery model. I will be striving to drive ever-enhancing value to our clients, all of whom recognise the need to move away from ‘tick box’ testing and towards our delivery of constant cyber pressure.”

“I can’t wait to lead CovertSwarm to further development and enhance their already impressive proposition, drawing on my extensive experience in the offensive security industry.” Added Potter.

About CovertSwarm

The team at CovertSwarm is driven by a single objective – to constantly compromise the security of its clients through the deep detection of blind spots within their cyber defences and technology stacks before real threat actors can exploit them.

Our continuous client-focused cyber intelligence gathering, simulated attack, clear vulnerability reporting, live ethical hacker interaction capability and follow-up education services challenge the status quo of a cyber market in need of modernisation.

Organisations seeking higher degrees of cyber assurance and security confidence than those offered by simple ‘snapshot’ penetration testing and red team engagements are increasingly partnering with us. They agree that ‘point in time’ testing is no longer enough to secure their organisations, and it is through this shared ethos that CovertSwarm challenges everything that has so far been ‘standard’ in today’s cyber vendor market.
