Awards & Recognition
We’re here to fundamentally challenge the offensive cybersecurity industry. We’re proud of what we do.

2026
The Deloitte EMEA Technology Fast 500 ranks the 500 fastest-growing technology companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, based on verified revenue growth over a multi-year period.
It’s one of the most credible growth benchmarks in the European tech sector – objective, data-driven, and spanning 24 countries.
CovertSwarm ranked #291, placing it among the fastest-growing tech companies across the EMEA region. Announced 2026
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list is built on employee data, not company nominations. Workers complete anonymous WorkL surveys covering pay, wellbeing, autonomy, recognition, and purpose. CovertSwarm has now appeared on the list for three consecutive years. Independent validation that the culture scales with the company.
Business Awards UK hosts an annual multi-sector technology awards program open to UK businesses across 14 categories. The Disruptive Technology of the Year category recognises companies that challenge the status quo by using technology that significantly alters existing markets or creates new ones. CovertSwarm’s subscription-based, always-on approach to offensive security, which replaces periodic testing with continuous offensive security testing, made it the 2026 winner in this category.
Megabuyte tracks over 20,000 UK software and technology companies. Their Emerging Stars program identifies the 50 best-performing scale-ups in the UK tech sector, selected entirely on financial performance data. Megabuyte’s proprietary scorecard weighs organic revenue growth, headcount expansion, and profitability. Around 800 companies are considered; 50 make the list. That puts CovertSwarm in the top 6% of eligible UK tech scale-ups by financial performance.
Within the Emerging Stars programme, Megabuyte also names the best-performing company within specific market sectors. CovertSwarm won the Cyber Services peer group – selected on the same verified financial data as the broader list, but ranked first against direct sector peers.
“CovertSwarm’s continued strong performance underlines that continuous red teaming is resonating beyond early adopters. As IT environments become more dynamic and threat surfaces expand, its subscription-based, always-on model feels increasingly aligned with how organisations need to approach assurance. Growth remains strong, gross margins sit at the upper end of the managed security services sub-peer group and continue to trend in the right direction, while investment in automation appears to be improving scalability without undermining the core proposition.”

Clutch is the leading global B2B review and ratings platform, used by over a million business leaders to find vetted service providers. Their Fastest Growth list is based on verified revenue data – figures are submitted directly by companies and independently checked.
Two appearances on this list, ranking globally in 2024 and 2026, confirm sustained growth rather than a one-year spike.
The Computing Security Excellence Awards are one of the UK cybersecurity industry’s longest-running recognition programmes. Entries are assessed first by Computing’s editorial team, then scored independently by a panel of senior IT professionals including CISOs, CTOs, and practitioners.
CovertSwarm is a finalist in the Security Innovation of the Year category for our Constant Cyber Attack™ subscription, something genuinely new.
2025
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work rankings are built on employee data, not company nominations. Employees complete anonymous surveys through WorkL covering pay, wellbeing, autonomy, recognition, and purpose. CovertSwarm scored 89% for overall employee engagement in 2025, 17 points above the cybersecurity industry average.
This was the second consecutive year we appeared on the list.
2024
Startups 100 is the UK’s longest-running startup index, previously featuring early-stage Monzo, Deliveroo, and Revolut.
Companies are assessed by the Startups.co.uk editorial team and independent judges on five criteria: financial performance, external validation, market opportunity, innovativeness, and strength of concept.
CovertSwarm was one of three cybersecurity companies named in the 2024 index, recognized for 120% year-on-year growth and its subscription-based approach to offensive security.
Connected Britain is the UK’s largest annual digital economy and connectivity event, drawing senior figures from across the UK’s digital infrastructure sector. Its awards programme is judged by a panel of analysts, network operators, and industry consultants.
CovertSwarm was shortlisted as a finalist alongside some of the UK’s most established digital infrastructure providers, recognised for the quality and reach of its B2B security services in the connected economy.
First appearance on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, recognised in the Small Organisations category (10–49 employees).
The list is employee-driven: workers fill in anonymous WorkL surveys across six areas including wellbeing, reward, information sharing, and job satisfaction.
Clutch is the leading global B2B review and ratings platform, used by over a million business leaders to find vetted service providers.
Their Fastest Growth list is based on verified revenue data. It’s not a popularity contest. CovertSwarm ranked #39 across all B2B service sectors globally, #2 in the UK, and first in cybersecurity worldwide for verified revenue growth.
2023
The CISO Choice Awards are judged by a board of practicing Chief Information Security Officers – the people responsible for buying, evaluating, and living with security solutions at some of the world’s largest organisations.
The Breach and Attack Simulation category recognises vendors that demonstrate genuine capability in simulating real-world attacks to test whether an organization’s defences would actually hold.
CovertSwarm was shortlisted in 2023 for its Portal.
2022
The CISO Choice Awards split its BAS (Breach and Attack Simulation) category into two in 2022: one for technology providers (software platforms), one for service providers (expert-led testing teams).
CovertSwarm won the Service Provider category, selected by an independent board of senior CISOs as the best human-led attack simulation service of the year.
This is the category that matters for what we do: continuous, hands-on offensive testing by ethical hackers, not automated tooling.
Shortlisted in the Start-Up Security Company category in the same cycle as winning the BAS Service Provider award.
The category evaluates emerging cybersecurity businesses on innovation, real-world impact, and client outcomes, judged by practicing CISOs.
CovertSwarm was two years old at the time.
